Melbourne alt metalcore band Dream On Dreamer are reuniting to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their sophomore album, 'Loveless'.
After disbanding in 2020 after releasing their fifth record 'What If I Told You It Doesn't Get Better', Dream On Dreamer will return to the stage for headline concerts in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney in August. The band have also re-recorded and released 'Loveless' track 'Hear Me Out', a song that propelled the band further onto a global stage (supporting the likes of A Day To Remember, Devil Wears Prada and Silverstein as well as touring Europe twice).
'Hear Me Out II' offers a glossy glow-up that packs a crisp evolution without sacrificing the charm of the original. "When we wrote this song, we tried to be as honest as we could possibly be at the time," Dream on Dreamer share.
"We've all been at a point in our lives when every ripple feels like a hungry wave just waiting to devour us. Where the magnitude of emotions weighs so heavy, it seems to take over your soul and the light of hope is dimmed to a point of almost complete darkness.
"There, you have choice," the band continue. "You can give up or grow and thrive with the trust of knowing that feeling low and hopeless is only manifested inside your own mind.
"In those moments we have to realise that life itself is so much bigger than us and our current state of emotions is nothing more than a temporary feeling and a teacher that guides you to be an even better version of yourself."
Tickets are on sale.
