American country star Drake Milligan returns to Australia in 2026.
With Brisbane his #1 Spotify city for monthly listeners (with Sydney and Melbourne also in his Top 5), Drake will play concerts in Melbourne and Sydney as well as headline Lasso Country Music Festival in Brisbane this July.
Last down under in 2024 playing CMC Rocks QLD, these dates align to Drake's Tumbleweed world tour; released in November, 'Tumbleweed' is the follow-up to his breakthrough album, 2022's 'Dallas/Fort Worth'.
'Tumbleweed' was inspired by Milligan's time on the road touring between 2022-2025 playing over 300 shows. "Well y'all. . . my new album 'Tumbleweed' is officially out," Drake posted.
"It's the album I've always wanted to make and I couldn't be more proud of it. I took some chances on this record, but one thing's for sure. . . it's COUNTRY through and through. Thank y'all for sticking by me and being just as excited to hear the new music as I am to play it."
After portraying Elvis in the 2017 TV series 'Sun Records' as well as a young Elvis in the 2014 short film 'Nobody', Drake also made appearances on 'American Idol' and 'America's Got Talent'.
A student of classic country music with the swagger of early rock & roll, Drake cites George Strait and Elvis Presley as his musical heroes.
Tickets to Melbourne and Sydney shows on sale from 11am (local time) on 20 January. Lasso Country Music Festival tickets also drop from 11am (local time) on 20 January.
