After its inaugural Australian event earlier this year in Melbourne (that attracted 30,000 fans), Download Festival is fast becoming one of the premier heavy music events on Australia's live calendar.
And with next year's edition expanding to Sydney, event organisers have revealed the 2019 dates and venues: Sat 9 March at Parramatta Park (Sydney) and Mon 11 March at Flemington Racecourse (Melbourne) - that's a long weekend folks
With gourmet delights, crafty cold beverages and eclectic markets also on offer, Download Festival is valhalla for anyone associated to the heavier music tribes.

And with the inaugural Melbourne offering featuring the likes of Korn, Prophets Of Rage, Limp Bizkit, Mastodon, NOFX and Suicidal Tendencies, event organisers are promising the 2019 line-up (which is due soon, so stay tuned for more details) 'is a corker'.
