'Marinade' and 'Rose Pink Cadillac' crooner, Dope Lemon will play two exclusive Australian shows as the release of his new album nears.
To headline concerts in Melbourne and Sydney in mid September, Dope Lemon aka Angus Stone will release his fourth album, 'Kimosabè', on 1 September. The follow-up to 2022 record 'Rose Pink Cadillac', the artwork for 'Kimosabè' is the first Dope Lemon album to feature Angus' face.
"In the past, the artwork has been real anonymous, in a way, because I was trying to explore these styles, and having this shield in front of me was beautiful," Stone says.
"For this record, I had moments of clarity reflecting on my childhood and I was able to see where I want to be in the future. Putting myself on the cover just felt right."
With appearances at North American festivals Lollapalooza, Osheaga and Outside Lands at the start of August after a recent run of UK-European shows, Dope Lemon invites you to 'step in and relax; have a drink, remember all the memories you thought you'd forgotten from your past – and imagine the roads you might take from there'.
Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 20 July.
