American singer-songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter returns to Australia late 2025, more than a decade since his last visit, for a family-affair tour.
Already revealed on Queenscliff Music Festival and Thirroul Festival line-ups, the 'Free' and 'It Don't Matter' hitmaker will headline shows in Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney (x2 shows) and Melbourne this November-December."There's no better feeling than knowing I'm heading back down under to Australia – and having my son Hendrix Frankenreiter opening the shows is a lifelong dream come true! After releasing his latest LP, 'Get Outta My Mind' in 2024, Frankenreiter has been on a winding tour path this year, crossing the US from coast to coast with friends Dispatch, John Butler and G. Love & Special Sauce.
This tour down under marks a whole ten years since the soul-surfer played to Australian fans. The soulful storyteller will bring a swag of surf-rock bangers and campfire charmers like 'Shine', 'Big Wave', 'What'cha Know About', 'On My Mind', 'Like The Sun' and 'Take Me Away'.
While you can also expect to hear some of his new numbers too like 'I'll Come A-Runnin'', 'All I Ever Wanted' and 'Alive'. With his unmistakable blend of sun-drenched folk, roots, and vintage rock, Frankenreiter brings a show that's equal parts beach party and intimate jam session.
