A metallic hardcore punk, metalcore band from The Netherlands, Dogma is what you want it to be.
A cult, a sect, a secret society, a band, a musical, a documentary – they let you decide.
First arriving in a cloud of mystery and intrigue with 2022 single 'Father I Have Sinned', Dogma are five women united by their religion in chaos, horror and blasphemy.
This November they voyage to Australia for the very first time. "Australia, the time has come. For the first time ever, Dogma crosses the oceans to bring the ritual of liberation to your land.
"This November 2025, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney will witness what so many sinners around the world have already felt: the fire, the revelation, the breaking of chains."
Slowly but surely climbing their way up the ladder, with a string of recent European festivals and an upcoming tour with Lord Of The Lost in 2026, Dogma released their self-titled debut album in 2023. Last year, they dropped a mesmerising cover of Madonna's 'Like A Prayer'.
"We live in a time when our freedom is vast yet constantly, precariously in jeopardy. We are Dogma. We believe the essential liberties are speech, expression, and thought. Nobody can control us.
"We call upon you to reject external forces like religion and politics and forge your own path. Many live banal lives, projecting false images, showing off seemingly perfect beauty, and happiness, building fake avatars that obscure who they are inside.
"We aim to eradicate the emptiness which sends people on an endless quest for approval (and followers) based on lies. Ideas, careers, sex, whatever you want, so long as you do not harm others, should be yours.
"We stand against the repression of self, including sexuality. If you want something, go for it. We are Dogma, and we are anti-dogma. Wake up. Open up your eyes."
