Part of the Britpop wave throughout the '90s, English band Dodgy are headed to Australia for the very first time.
The band who produced the charting singles 'Staying Out For The Summer' and 'Grassman' will play their breakthrough third studio record 'Free Peace Sweet' in full before an encore of their 'greatest hits'.Dodgy, who emerged at the same time as comrades Pulp, Blur, Oasis, Shed 7, Menswear and Sleeper, will headline concerts in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth in September.
Known as the 'cheeky chappies of Britpop', 'Free Peace Sweet' peaked at #7 on the UK charts and by March 1997 had sold 400,000 copies.
The album contained the singles 'Good Enough', 'In A Room', 'If You're Thinking Of Me' and 'Found You' – for many 'Good Enough' soundtracked the British summer of 1996.
Tickets on sale from 12pm (local time) on 21 April.
