Set to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their debut album 'Hills End', Australian Britpop indie rockers DMA'S return for a one-off hometown show in Sydney next month.
The record that introduced the world to their anthemic alternative dance-rock and searing, heart-wrenching melodies, DMA'S will perform the album in its entirety, with some songs to be performed live for the very first time. They'll also perform a secondary set of their other hits.
Originally released on 26 February, 2016, 'Hills End' is littered with bangers: 'Delete', 'Lay Down', and 'Step Up The Morphine', as well as deeper cuts like the fan favourites 'Timeless', 'Too Soon', 'Play It Out', 'Melbourne' and 'Straight Dimensions'.
'Hills End' peaked at #8 on the ARIA Albums Chart as well as charting in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. DMA'S will release a ten-year anniversary LP, featuring the full album along with previously unreleased original demos (pre-order it) on 6 February.
The last decade has seen the band release three further albums: 'For Now' (2018), 'The Glow' (2020), and 'How Many Dreams?' (2023), their catalogue of hits also including 'Silver', 'Tape Deck Sick' and 'In The Air'.
They've gone on to play esteemed stages like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Splendour In The Grass, Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, won Best Group at 2023 ARIA Awards, with many of their songs also featuring in film, TV, and advertising campaigns worldwide.
This exclusive Sydney show promises a rare and unforgettable experience for fans, offering a chance to celebrate a decade of DMA'S music and revisit the record that started it all in an intimate setting.
DMA'S play Metro Theatre (Sydney) on 27 March.
