Ouch! In a move that's bound to piss her right off, Disclosure have further burned Azaelia Banks by being completley nonchalant. Well played, boys.
How much would you pay to be a fly on the wall, chilling backstage at Listen Out fest in Brisbane this Sunday? British brothers Guy and Lawrence Howard have further (whether intentionally or not) dissed the rapper in a new interview with Triple J, much to the entertainment of everyone down under.
The brothers were responding to Azaelia's claims that she dropped a collaboration they worked on from her debut album because the duo were rude about her. The rapper said she might leak the track in the future and that she wouldn't be upset about the track not being on the record because she had “much better stuff”.
“I don't give a damn if she leaks it,” Howard told Tom and Alex on Triple J breakfast this morning.
“We just wrote the first verse and a build-up – there wasn't a chorus – and she kind of took it away,” he said.
“Then she thought we were rude in that interview, but we apologised and everything. It didn't seem to matter that we apologised... We made the beat on the way there in the car... Whatever.”
Sure, Azaelia... You thrive off controversy, but everyone knows that power lays in the hands of whoever cares the least, so it might be an idea to just ride this one out.
Unlikely. Let the twitter tirade begin.
