Canadian singer-songwriter, musician Devin Townsend returns to Australia this November.
Townsend will headline concerts in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.An artistic genius – he perceives notes as vibrant colours and captivating shapes – who has forged a reputation for creating sonic landscapes that oscillate between crushingly heavy sounds and ethereal and otherworldly ambience, an evening with Devin Townsend is unlike any other live music experience.
A relentless force who has released 23 studio albums and 4 live albums across his different bands and solo projects – from his 1993 debut with Steve Vai through Strapping Young Lad, The Devin Townsend Band and Devin Townsend Project as well as his solo output, Townsend's most recent record is 2022 release 'Lightwork'.
Townsend's 2023 tours of Europe and the UK and current North American run has seen him curate a set list drawing not only from 'Lightwork', but delving all the way to bring back some fan favourites and surprises.
