Next year marks the 20th anniversary of Delta Goodrem's record-making debut album, 'Innocent Eyes', with the pop artist set to return to the road for a five-date national tour from late September.
The superstar singer-songwriter will headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, performing 'Innocent Eyes' in its entirety. When released in March 2003, 'Innocent Eyes' would spend a staggering 29 weeks at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart propelling Delta into mainstream consciousness – the album became the highest-selling debut album in Australian history.
It also spawned five #1 singles ('Born To Try', 'Lost Without You', 'Innocent Eyes', 'Not Me, Not I', and 'Predictable'), which is an Australian record for the most #1 songs from a debut album, as well as winning seven awards at the ARIA Awards in 2003.
"I feel so grateful to have had all the opportunities this album has brought in my life and all the incredible people that took me into their homes with this album and who have been on this journey with me," Delta says.
"This is going to be a wonderful night together of music and storytelling celebrating the album that changed my life."
