Dead Letter Circus And More Added To 2020 Download Festival

Dead Letter Circus
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Check your data, because this year's Download Festival just got bigger with the addition of three smashing new bands.

A line-up already bursting at the seams with rock and metal frivolity, Download 2020 will now also feature the talents of Brisbane's Dead Letter Circus as well as Sydney's Hellions and Melbourne's Orpheus Omega.

The three new acts join the likes of headliners My Chemical Romance (in their only Australian show), Mongolian metal warriors The Hu (click to read our recent in-depth Q&A with the band), Deftones, Jimmy Eat World, Clutch, Ministry, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Bodyjar and many more.

Dead Letter Circus have ascended to the forefront of alternative rock since their inception in 2004. Their live performance is where DLC have built their reputation, and that’s what they will be serving up at Download 2020.

Genre-melding rock collective Hellions have been busy since they hit the scene in 2013. Known for their dynamic, energetic live show, they have toured the world multiple times and are a welcome addition to this year’s line-up.

Melodic death metal outfit Orpheus Omega have been gaining momentum since 2008, blending catchy hooks and melodies with crushing riffs. 2019 saw the release of their fourth studio album ‘Wear Your Sins’, their most ambitious record yet.
