One of the original hardcore acts, punk rockers Dead Kennedys have announced an Australian tour this November with shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
Forty years since they formed, and thirty-five years since they first toured Australia, Dead Kennedys will bring their over-the-top live antics down under performing such classics as 'Holiday In Cambodia', 'Too Drunk To F…', 'Nazi Punks F… Off' and 'California Über Alles'.
The band had an influence on Australia's alternative scene at the start of the '80s, with their first album 'Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables' selling by the truckload and the subsequent single 'Too Drunk To F…' becoming news when it was banned.
Dead Kennedys have been, and continue to be a fundamental inspiration for generations of skate and surf punks and massively popular bands including The Offspring and Green Day as well as locals Frenzal Rhomb and The Living End.
Tickets on sale from 10 August at 10am. Click here for more information.
