Cosmic Country Weekender, Dashville Skyline, is ramping things up to celebrate ten years this October in New South Wales.
Dashville adds 16 more acts to its already stellar class of 2024, plus a collaboration with MusicNSW, where two regional NSW acts will join the festival line-up as the final stop on the MusicNSW-supported Golden Highway regional tour.
The team at Dashville are music lovers through and through, as they showcase some of the best in Australian alternative folk and country music. The team always strive to offer up a magical space for music lovers to enjoy well-considered festival programmes, full to the brim with heart and soul performances from our own backyard and across the world.
Soul country powerhouse Emma Donovan joins the fun, as does the eclectic Ella Hooper of Killing Heidi fame; Tamworth alt-country party boy Andy Golledge; country outfit James Ellis & The Jealous Guys; raucous Austin-based debutants Buck N Stuff (US); loveable larrikin Watty Thompson; rising indie folk singer Camille Trail; the Americana vibes of Jeb Cardwell & The Dream Deal; local bluegrass legends Good Corn Liquor; western swing pros Hunter Valley Ramblers; the prowess of Kingsley James; and the flow of Andy Abra’s Big River Band.
These acts join the likes of Ross Wilson & The Peaceniks, legendary US act Hurray For The Riff Raff, plus Kingswood, Shane Howard, William Crighton, 19-Twenty, The Counterfeit, Freya Josephine Hollick, and Emily Barker.
Internationally, audiences can also expect Portland’s Rose City Band, Texan legends Uncle Lucius, and UK-based folk protest singer Grace Petrie.
Music is just the beginning of Dashville Skyline – attendees can savour mouth-watering American-inspired food and beverages, trawl boutique vintage market stalls, visit the music history exhibit, join the animal petting zoo, partake in a guitar-and-car show, and more.
