Rapidly rising indie artist-producer, Mason Dane has dropped his latest banger, 'Pretty Pearl', which features a collaboration with Brisbane rapper Baby Prince.
The Newcastle-born, Sydney-based EDM-pop-trap artist is fresh off the viral success of previous track 'Dash' that saw Dane court a groundswell of international attention that included an epic reaction from his newest fan, T-Pain.
Oh, and the track was also used by American's Team the Dallas Cowboys to soundtrack their video with American Air.
"In the past few months my life has changed so much," Mason says.
"In a few short months I've built a TikTok following and connected with T-Pain who I grew up listening to and it's pretty surreal.
"My streams have gone crazy since that moment and I'm just really excited for what the future holds and I've been making the best music I have ever made."
A self-taught songwriter and producer, Mason has chased his music dreams from a young age converting his parent's Series 2000 caravan into a mobile studio.
His hustle has seen collaborations eventuate with Manu Crooks, Hooligan Hefs and many others.
"'Pretty Pearl' is a song about finding home in somebody and wanting to protect them from the bad things in the world," Dane says.
"A pearl is rare and beautiful, and this song is about finding that person.
"I made this song with Baby Prince from Brisbane and he just brought an amazing energy to the hook and I’m glad to finally be able to put out a song with him."
