Singer, songwriter and guitarist Darren Middleton (ex-Powderfinger) was blown away by the level of interest he received after asking budding singers submit their vocals for the chorus of his new track.
His short, one-take request video on Facebook received more than thirty-three thousand views in two days.
In light of the positive response he is now inviting EVERYONE to join in, seeking as many voices as possible to complete his song, 'Lightning Halos'. The track will feature on his upcoming EP, which is set to be released in November, and surrounds the various troubles people face in life while encouraging listeners to stay strong during the tough times.
Middleton says: “Music has always been about people to me, the sharing and caring in our lives, both trouble and joy. I started this quite unsure of how it would turn out but as I listen to all the recordings sent it, I'm hearing so many different vulnerabilities and strengths in peoples voices, I'm completely blown away and humbled.”
