The dreamy, psychedelic pop, swirly surf rock of New Zealand's Daily J will cross the Tasman in 2025.
The Auckland-based trio of brothers Jayden, Jonny and Jesse along with their friend Rick, will headline concerts in Wollongong, Newcastle, Sydney, Fremantle, Adelaide, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Melbourne and Torquay next February-March.Since they first started making trippy waves in and around their home of Blenheim (New Zealand's famed wine country on the South Island) around 2017, Daily J have released a steady stream of original music highlighted by such tracks as 'Left Me Like Summer', 'Space' and 'Skylah'.
After the release of their debut album 'Venus Ate Mars' in 2020, two weeks again the lads posted they'd signed off on their sophomore record, 'Scatterbrains', which will be available in February. Daily J have teased the new record with three 2024 singles: 'Happy Slides', 'Sunday Stitches' and 'Tastes Like Forever'.
"We're fizzing, absolutely fizzing to play our most upbeat and energetic album yet! We can't wait to kick things off in Australia, especially in places we haven't made it to yet," declares the band.
"Fans in Newcastle, Torquay, Adelaide, and Perth you've been calling, and we've been listening! Then we're back to NZ for what will be our biggest venues and shows to date. Can't wait to share some new sun-drenched songs with you all!"
