Girls just wanna have fun – and that’s exactly what legendary pop icon Cyndi Lauper plans to do when she hits Australia for her 2025 ‘Farewell’ tour!

After captivating audiences for decades with her timeless hits, Cyndi Lauper will take to the arena stages of Australia for one final time, bringing her world-renowned show to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Adelaide and Perth.

Cyndi’s ‘Farewell’ tour is set to kick off in Montreal this month. . . Before hitting the USA, the UK, and down under. She’ll be bidding a heartfelt goodbye to the stage.

Cyndi has achieved record sales in excess of 50 million. She was the first woman in history to have four top-five singles from a debut album, and since then, has released ten additional studio albums featuring timeless classics like ‘Time After Time’, ‘True Colours’, and the anthemic ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’.

The tour’s announcement follows not only her recent performance at Rock In Rio, but also the release of a documentary film exploring Cyndi’s extraordinary life and career, called ‘Let The Canary Sing’ on Paramount+.

“It’s a true honour to promote Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Farewell’ Tour,” TEG Dainty President and CEO Paul Dainty AO says. “She’s an iconic artist who has left an indelible mark on the music world, and to be part of this momentous tour is incredibly special.”

Alt-pop Aussie icons The Veronicas will be joining Cyndi Lauper on the tour, as special guests.

“We are so honoured to celebrate Cyndi’s final Tour with her!” they say. “We are planning an iconic night of unapologetic anthems, iconic fashion, and celebrating our true colours.”

Tickets go on sale 23 October at 2pm local.
