Courtney Barnett

For the first time in four years, Courtney Barnett returns to Australia for an east-coast tour late 2026.

The 'Avant Gardener' and 'Pedestrian At Best' hitmaker will headline concerts in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this November.

The run of shows follows the recent release of 'Creature Of Habit', Barnett's fourth studio album that was written in the wake of her relocation from Melbourne to Los Angeles and the closure of her long-running label Milk! Records in 2023.

It features 'Site Unseen (feat. Waxahatchee)', with RHCP's Flea guesting bass on 'One Thing At A Tine', while Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa provides drums-percussion on the album as well as a co-write of album track 'Mantis'.

"'Mantis' is the microcosmic centrepiece of this album," Courtney posted. "It embodies the message and meaning of every track. It's a song about searching, and it helped me find my way through 'Creature Of Habit'."

The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has just completed a short UK tour that will be followed by a massive US run of shows in May and August.

With 'Creature Of Habit', Courtney Barnett reaffirms her place as one of the most compelling voices in modern rock; unafraid to confront uncertainty, embrace vulnerability, and transform it into something deeply human and electrifying.

Tickets on sale from 9am AEST on 10 April.
