Counting Crows Australia 2026 Tour

Counting Crows
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

Only in Australia back in 2023 for Bluesfest and a run of headline shows, American rockers Counting Crows return in 2026.

The 'Mr. Jones' and 'Accidentally In Love' (from the 'Shrek 2' soundtrack) hitmakers without forgetting their epic cover of Joni Mitchell's 'Big Yellow Taxi' will headline concerts in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne next March-April.

The dates are the week prior to Easter long weekend, so one can dream that Counting Crows will also return to Bluesfest on this run. "The Complete Sweets! tour is coming to Australia in 2026! See you soon."

Earlier this year, Counting Crows released their eighth studio album (and first since 2014's 'Somewhere Under Wonderland' album) 'Butter Miracle, The Complete Sweets!'.

A follow-up to the 2021 EP 'Butter Miracle, Suite One', expanding that EP into a full album, the record features the four original songs along with five new compositions. Highlight tracks include 'Elevator Boots', 'Bobby And The Rat-Kings', 'Spaceman In Tulsa' and 'Angel Of 14th Street'.

With 'Mr. Jones' and 'Accidentally In Love' in their arsenal alongside the likes of 'Round Here', 'Colorblind', 'A Long December', 'Hanginaround' and 'Rain King', Counting Crows 2026 tour promises sing‑along moments, deep cuts, and fresh energy to iconic theatres.

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 20 October.
