Counterparts Australia 2025 Tour

Counterparts
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and some beyond.

Canadian melodic, hardcore punks Counterparts are headed to Australia as part of their Heaven Let Them Die tour dates.

The Ontario natives, known for their songs 'Love Me' and 'Whispers Of Your Death', will headline concerts in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane in June; and they're bringing Portland metalcore band Dying Wish. "We're coming back along with our friends in Dying Wish."

Fans can look forward to an emotional and powerful set list, featuring tracks from the band's extensive seven-album discography, including highlights from their 2022 release, 'A Eulogy For Those Still Here', as well as cuts from their late 2024 surprise EP release 'Heaven Let Them Die'.

"'Heaven Let Them Die' represents Counterparts at our most intense – musically, lyrically, and visually," shares frontman Brendan Murphy.

"The EP builds on where 'A Eulogy For Those Still Here' left off, capturing how I've come to terms with everything foreshadowed in the last release and how it has shaped where I stand today. It's our most genuine work to date – raw, uncompromising, and unfiltered."

Active since 2016, Dying Wish have released two studio albums, their most recent being 2023's 'Symptoms Of Survival'.

Tickets on sale from 1pm (local time) on 31 January.
