If you've been fangin' to wear your favourite black tee and crash the dance floor for a serious moshing session, the inaugural The Other Festival has you covered.
Set to take place at Brisbane's The Fortitude Music Hall next month (13 February), The Other Festival will be headlined by epic noise merchants COG and the psych-rock lords Wolf & Cub (who returned from a seven-year absence last year with an incredible new album 'NIL'). "Very much looking forward to this. Thanks people!" exalts COG.
With the festival to offer two stages (the second will be upstairs in The Outpost Bar), other bands slated to perform include Byron Bay's From Crisis To Collapse, rockers Smoking Martha, heavy purveyors RedHook, and the metal-rock goodness of Osaka Punch.
The rest of the line-up is stacked including Hammers, These Four Walls and Being Jane Lane.
With doors set to open from 2pm, and with The Faction DJs and Rock N Roll Yoga on-hand to expel the bad juju of 2020, The Other Festival is your green light to return to the old normal for a day of huge sounds and epic visuals in a venue made for music.
