Australian punks Clowns are gearing up for the release of their fifth studio album ('Endless') with a national run of live shows.
About to depart the country for their 14-date tour through Europe and the UK, this will be Clowns first major headline tour of Australia since 2019.Clowns will rock stages in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Perth, Alice Springs and Brisbane in October-November.
Clowns first studio album since their ARIA Award-nominated 'Nature/Nurture' LP in 2019, 'Endless' was written between 2020-2022 and features the single 'FORMALDEHYDE' that was released last month.
As the early home demos for 'Endless' unfolded, a powerful theme of immortality emerged in the music, capturing Clowns' unyielding determination to persevere and adapt to a rapidly changing world.
The next sampling of 'Endless' arrives today with second album single 'Bisexual Awakening', a track that explores singer Stevie Williams' personal journey of sexual exploration and self-discovery.
"Over the years, I've come to fully realise the multi-dimensionality of my sexuality," shares Stevie.
"I was inspired to write a punk song that celebrates the support and community I found during moments of self discovery in our classic tongue-in-cheek way.
"Plus, I wanted to see what would happen if I wrote a song about f...ing people's dads."
Joining Clowns on tour will be their label mates VOIID (except in Perth and Alice Springs).
Tickets are on sale.
