City And Colour Australia 2025 Tour

City And Colour

Acclaimed indie folk, alternative acoustic singer-songwriter City and Colour is returning to Australia in 2025.

In what will be Dallas Green's 19th tour down under (ten times as City and Colour, with another eight visits with Alexisonfire), the Canadian artist will be joined by eight-piece soul-gospel-blues-Americana-R&B sonic bandits Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.

To land in January, the tour will visit Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. "Extremely stoked to be heading down under again," Dallas says. "This time with our brothers in Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Joining us are Alex Lahey and Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys."

Across a 20-plus year solo career, City and Colour has penned a host of classics certifying him as a gun singer-songwriter whose lyrics pierce the heart with a genuine authenticity that has seen him build a legion of loyal fans globally.

Last year Green released his seventh studio album 'The Love Still Held Me Near'. "[It] was born out of unimaginable loss and the subsequent journey through the grief and heartache that followed," Dallas says.

"It's about digging deep down into yourself and attempting to unearth hope and light in the things that can comfort you through those times. For me that has always been writing and recording music, so that's exactly what I did."

The record features 'Underground' and 'Meant To Be' and builds on his legacy that features such songs as 'The Girl', 'Lover Comeback', 'Comin' Home', 'Sleeping Sickness', 'Northern Wind' and 'The Grand Optimist'.

One of the most recognisable forces in contemporary rock & roll, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are an undeniable live act, most recently in Australia in 2023 (including Bluesfest).

Since 2015, Rateliff has led his denim-clad, horn-flanked Night Sweats to stages across the globe, leaving awed audiences in their wake. They've released four studio albums, the most recent being 2024's 'South Of Here' – a record that reckons with a lifetime of pain and trauma, and transforms it into a stirring and soul-baring rumination on love, loss, hope and resolve.

Local artist Alex Lahey will support on the east coast and Adelaide dates, while Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys will warm audiences in Perth.

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 25 September.
