Citizen & Movements Headline The Inaugural New Bloom Fest That Lands In Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne In 2024

Heads up alternative rock and punk heads, Australia will welcome a new festival to the summer calendar when New Bloom Fest bolts down in 2024.

Set to travel to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne in March, New Bloom Fest is top loaded with international talent alongside a curated line-up of local acts in each city.

Melodic emo, post-hardcore rockers Citizen ('The Night I Drove Alone', 'Sleep'), who recently released their fifth studio album 'Calling The Dogs' lead the international arrivals, the Michigan-Ohio band to be joined by Orange Country post-hardcore rockers Movements ('Daylily', 'Full Circle').

Fronted by Patrick Miranda, Movements recently released their newest album 'RUCKUS!' (that landed at #5 on Billboard's Alternative chart); it features 'Lead Pipe', 'Fail You' and 'Killing Time'. Los Angeles melodic hardcore, screamo product, Touché Amoré ('Flowers And You', 'New Halloween') will also join the party.

"AUSTRALIA! It's been WAY too long! We'll be coming back to play New Bloom Fest in March 2024! Keep an eye out for some additional headline shows as well," shares Touche Amore.



Then there's pop punks No Pressure, who bring together members from The Story So Far, Light Years and Drain – the group released their debut self-titled LP last year; it features the cuts 'Lock It Up' snd 'Too Far'.

The international talent on the bill is completed by American alternative metal, soft grunge rockers Fleshwater ('Kiss The Ladder') who'll make their live debut down under and Canadian grunge alt rockers Softcult, the duo of twin siblings Phoenix and Mercedes Arn-Horn who have released three EPs since emerging in 2020.

"Well look at that, we are headed to Australia in March 2024," adds Softcult, who are known for 'Spit It Out' and 2023 single 'Love Song'.



Tickets on sale from 10am (local time) on 8 November.
