Grammy Award-winning American jazz trumpeter-composer Chris Botti returns to Australia in 2026.
Acclaimed for bridging the jazz, pop, and classical worlds, Botti is bringing his world class ensemble of jazz musicians to headline concerts in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne this June.
Active since the late '80s (where he toured briefly with Frank Sinatra before forging a creative relationship with Sting throughout the '90s), Botti has collaborated with a who's who of music.
Think Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Bette Midler, Joni Mitchell, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, and Barbra Streisand, while Chris has also performed on legendary stages around the world.
Chris has received five Grammy Awards nominations, winning Best Pop Instrumental Album in 2013 for his tenth studio album 'Impressions', which features collabs with Bocelli as well as Vince Gill, Herbie Hancock and Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler and peaked at #1 on the Billboard Jazz Album chart.
Botti's concerts are known for their elegance, emotional depth, and technical brilliance, seamlessly blending jazz standards, with popular favourites and cinematic works, including the iconic film scores of Ennio Morricone.
