Two of the bigger names in modern metal, Chelsea Grin and Currents are tag-teaming for a co-headline tour of Australia.
Set to land in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart, Geelong, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in May, Chelsea Grin and Currents will alternate headline duties throughout the country. The tour will also see a local flavour, with Aussie acts Bloom and HEAVENSGATE joining the action for all the dates. "Stoked to be a part of this one, doing a lap of the country with Currents, Chelsea Grin and HEAVENSGATE this May," posted Bloom.
Last here in 2023 as guests of Thy Art Is Murder's Decade Of Hate tour, Salt Lake City deathcore band Chelsea Grin continue to remain relevant in the alternative scene with a steady stream of new music since they formed in 2007 highlighted by the tracks 'Hostage' and 'Recreant'. Their most recent studio album was 2023's 'Suffer In Heaven' featuring 'Sing To The Grave'.
Connecticut post-metalcore outfit Currents return to Australia having last toured down under on Polaris' 2023 Fatalism tour. Currents' most recent studio album was 2023's 'The Death We Seek' featuring 'Remember Me', 'So Alone' and the title track.
