Sending off 2012 with a bang, Cheated Hearts are throwing a queer bash you won't forget at Alloneword on Saturday December 15.
The wild night will kick off with DJ Heavy Leather making her debut performance. She worships Lil' Kim, Brooke Candy, Based God and Aaliyah, so she must be good.
The second artist is the unique DJ Mikey who knows exactly what the people of Brisbane like and how to get them moving, having played in the city's most iconic alternative bars.
To top off the night, DJ Jane Doe vs. Frankie Trouble as they go head to head on the decks for a killer DJ battle. Frankie only appeared on the scene in 2009 but has already built a reputation for herself outside of the mainstream. She has picked up gigs around Brisbane and the Gold Coast, DJing for the likes of Pistol Whipped, Cut & Taste, Qsesh and Show Your Bones and played at such venues as GOMA, Limes Rooftop Bar and The Wickham Hotel.
DJ Jane Doe shows she's fierce competition, as she pushes the boundaries between indie, electro, gitch hop and chill. Starting out her career in Sydney, she's DJed at iconic venues such as World Bar and The Annadale Hotel to Empire and Barsoma. She lives to get audiences up and dancing the night away.
They're also hooking you up with a photobooth and Queer Chart (The L Word style). The party starts at 9.30pm, $10 on the door.
