Chase Rice Australia 2025 Tour

Chase Rice
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Set to play the Toowoomba leg of Meatstock, American country singer-songwriter Chase Rice has added a trio of his own headlining shows.

The 'Eyes On You', 'Ready Set Roll' and 'Lonely If You Are' artist will play concerts in Newcastle, Sydney and Melbourne next March.

Chase is an artist who has had an interesting path to music, having played American football at college, then becoming a pit-crew member in the world of NASCAR (motorsport) before placing runner-up on 'Survivor: Nicaragua' in 2010.

Now after releasing six studio albums on a major label (including 2023's 'I Hate Cowboys & All Dogs Go To Hell'), Rice recently shared his seventh record 'Go Down Singin'', his first as an independent artist.

Last month, he dropped 'The Fireside Sessions' that combines both albums with acoustic renditions. His sound continues to evolve to reflect the realities of his life; from emotional reckoning to an admiration of the American West.

"The whole process of putting together the 'I Hate Cowboys' record and the 'Go Down Singin'' record was a long two years of figuring out how do something I've never done before," Chase shares.

"All the songs were written on guitar and a depth I haven't really hit before. This is the final piece of that puzzle. 'The Fireside Sessions' are both those albums together, all acoustic, featuring the songwriters from both those records."

Tickets on sale from 12pm (local time) on 15 November.
