The co-writer of Justin Bieber and The Kid Laroi's global hit 'Stay', four-time Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and producer, Charlie Puth has released the first taste of his forthcoming studio album 'CHARLIE'.
After teasing fans for months with a series of TikTok videos highlighting the creative process, 'Light Switch' is a bright, irresistible slice of polished pop featuring Puth's signature falsetto vocals."On the songwriting level, it was really cool to share this song with the fans while I made it, so they felt like they were involved at the very beginning of the song, like they almost wrote it with me," Charlie says.
The song's official music video – directed by Christian Breslauer (The Weeknd, Lil Nas, Doja Cat) – humorously follows Charlie through all we do to capture that unrequited love.
A three-time Billboard Music Awards winner who also has a Critic's Choice Award as well as a Golden Globe nomination, Puth says his forthcoming studio album is his most personal yet.
"I've never had a chance to put out music that is truly me and every song on this album is my personality with some melody attached to it."
