Central Coast venue Proud Mary's has announced it will be closing as of 1 June.

In a statement released via their Facebook page, Proud Mary's informed punters the decision has come from the new management of The Sunken Monkey Hotel where Proud Mary's is stationed.

The new venue management have announced their own plans to renovate the nightclub portion of the hotel and re-open later in the year.

Proud Mary's started in 2016 and in its time earned an indelible reputation as one of the Central Coast's finest alternative music houses.

Before they ship off though, Proud Mary's still has one last party to throw when Roland Tings hits the stage this Saturday night (25 May) for a killer DJ set.
