The Fiesta-A-Cielo is the hottest new soon-to-be-annual heavy music festival for the Central Coast.
In its first year, the festival is already sporting an 11 band strong line-up of local up and coming, and touring acts. The mini festival boasts a Mexican theme (because everything Mexican is bloody rad) – Mexican food, market stalls and even a mini sideshow alley with some quirky and ridiculous games like 'Pin The Tail On The Langanke', 'Pinga Pinata' and a 'Chilli Eating Comp'.
Heading the festival are Novacastians (Newcastle dwellers) Trophy Eyes, who recently won the Tripple J Unearthed Soundwave competition in NSW and have just scored a deal with US label champions, Hopeless Records.
Joining them are Newcastle neighbours Rivalries, who just a heads up are dropping some new tunes pretty soon. Along with Adelaide band Life Pilot who won the 2013 Triple J Unearthed competition, and locals to the area, Mark My Words.
To top off the list of acts will be Staunch form Newcastle, Averia Skies from Perth and Central Coasters Diviner, Mindshank, The Weather Underground, Scars Have Faded and Lost Without Life.
Fiesta-A-Cielo will be held at the Youth Arts Warehouse in Gosford, October 4.
