Melbourne alternative rockers Camp Cope lead the second round artist announcement for next month's City of Swan’s 2018 HyperFest event in Perth.
Camp Cope will be joined by Sydney indie sensation Ruby Fields and South Australian mosh lords Falcifer, alongside local heroes: J.F.K, Kopano, Lost Honours, Muka Vhattie and Vacant Home.
They’ll join HyperFest's already stacked line-up, which includes (in alphabetical order) Arno Faraji, Carmouflage Rose, Carla Geneve, Columbus, Cursed Earth, Dear Seattle, Feels, Glass Wave, Heaps Good Friends, In Hearts Wake, Introvert, Maddy Jane, POW! Negro, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Raksha, Sly Withers, Tired Lion, WAAX and Winter Corner. That's a monster bill.
Though music won't be the only entertainment offered. Midland/Guildford Ward Councillor Mark Elliott said the all-ages (12+) drug, smoke and alcohol free event would also have a heap of other entertainment on offer.
"This year's festival will also feature a dodgeball arena, water slides and sideshow alley market, climbing wall, live art battles, gourmet food vans, photo booth, games, merchandise and a signing tent for all of your favourite artists," Mark says.
