Set to release their new studio album 'Running With The Hurricane' this month (25 March), power-emo trio Camp Cope will embark on their first national tour in four years in May.
"Excited to announce our album tour dates in Australia! We have some special guests coming along which we will share with you soon."Tickets go on sale this Thursday. PS all tickets for the cancelled Sydney Metro show will be valid for the Enmore in Sydney xo."
The band will play headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Castlemaine.
Four years removed from their last studio album, 'How To Socialise & Make Friends', the new record finds Georgia Maq (songwriter, vocals, piano, acoustic and electric guitar), Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich (lead bass guitar) and Sarah Thompson (drums, percussion) in a reflective space as they ponder 'faltered romances, secret crushes and vibrating with the confidence that makes you feel like you're on fire'.
"The first record was us diving into whatever Camp Cope created, the second album was us when we were in the thick of it, and then this album is about how we've come out the other side. And we've come out stronger, more loving, more peaceful and better friends."
Tickets on sale from 10 March at 11am EDT. More information.
