Central Queensland country singer-songwriter Camille Trail, fresh off receiving her very first Golden Guitar nomination for New Talent Of The Year, has released another single from her #5 ARIA debut album 2021's 'River Of Sins'.
A love song that incorporates blues and gospel sounds, 'Oh Darling' was produced by multiple ARIA and Golden Guitar winner Shane Nicholson."'Oh Darling' is a love song I subconsciously wrote to myself," Camille says.
"I had been writing far too many sad love songs and figured I better write a happy one, and I thought it was just a random love song, I didn't write it for anyone specifically.
"After the song was recorded and I started playing it live, I realised I actually wrote the song to myself.
"In this world you are the only one person who will be there for every single moment in your life, so love yourself number one."
After performances at Groundwater Country Music Festival and Savannah In The Round as well as a sold-out album launch in Brisbane, Trail returns to the stage joining Shane Nicholson and Michael Waugh on their respective upcoming tours, before appearing at the rescheduled Tamworth Country Music Festival in April.
