Caloundra Music Festival has added Pete Murray and Wolfmother to its line-up.
They will join John Butler Trio, Tina Arena and Richard Clapton. Other Australian artists announced today are Baby Animals, James Reyne, Skunkhour, Thirsty Merc, The Bamboos, Wagons, 1927, The Perch Creek Family Jug Band, Belle Roscoe, The Strides, Pierce Brothers and Bearded Gypsie Band.
The four-day, family-friendly festival will happen adjacent to the gorgeous Kings Beach, Caloundra CBD, Bulcock Beach and a feast of local shops, restaurants and holiday accommodations.
As a supporter of local and emerging artists, Caloundra Music Festival also announced today Agnes J Walker, Ava Dunstan, Bearfoot, Bart Thrupp, Big Ol Bus Band, Cheap Fakes, Chris Flaskas, The Dave Sunderband, Emily Wenham, Flip Flop Movement, Free Like Me, Hayden Hack, In2nation, Lachie Doley Band, The Mae Trio, Matt Stillert, Of The Nations, Renae Suttie and the Swing Collective, Richard Perso, Ross Nixon Trio, Thump, Round Mountain Girls, Ryan Delaney, Stomping Ivories, Tigerlilly, The Timbers, The Reversals, Youngtree and Zac Gunthorpe.
Acts previously announced for this year’s CMF include John Butler Trio, Tina Arena, Richard Clapton, The Good Times band featuring Joe Camilleri, Richard Clapton, Russell Morris and Vika and Linda Bull, Ballpark Music, Jungle Giants, Blue Shaddy, Rick Estrin and the Nightcats (US), Tuba Skinny (US), Ayla, Castlecomer and Alex Crook.
Festival Director Richie Eyles said he was very excited about the latest round of artists to be announced. “There’s something there for everyone; clearly the fans all know and love the big names like Pete Murray, Wolfmother, JBT and co., but I’m especially excited about the international acts.”
