Bush To Bay 2021 Is Going Ahead, Adding More Talent Including Beccy Cole

Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

After postponing earlier this year, event organisers of regional Queensland music festival Bush To Bay are pushing ahead with their 2021 event.

To take place at Bay Central Tavern in Hervey Bay next month (9 October), Bush To Bay already features confirmed headliners: four-time ARIA award winning artist Lee Kernaghan and certified ARIA Gold folk-rock two-piece, Busby Marou.

Given a number of the previously announced acts from southern states can't make the 2021 date due to the current travel restrictions, now joining the bill will be the glowing warmth, husky tones and bawdy sense of humour of 11-time Golden Guitar winner Beccy Cole. "So looking forward to this!" beams Beccy.

Another new addition to the line-up is boot-scootin' Gold Coast trio Hinterland, fresh off dropping their rollicking good new single 'Giddy Up'.

"We can't wait to join Lee Kernaghan, Busby Marou, Beccy Cole and a stack of other amazing acts at Bush To Bay Music Festival on Oct 9," Hinterland says.

Whingham-born singer-songwriter James Johnston and his band, acclaimed jazz and cabaret performer Libby O'Donovan, and Fraser Coast faves Forbidden Road will also perform at Bush To Bay.

Tickets are available.
