American indie rock mainstays, Built To Spill return to Australia this spring.
Now into their fourth decade, the 'Carry The Zero' and 'Liar' hitmakers will play shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, the latter as a three-night residency as part of the inaugural Eighty-Six Festival – the new Victorian Government funded festival hosted at northside venues along the 86 tram route. This will be the first time in seven years the Doug Martsch-fronted band have toured Australia (that trip included their debut performance at Golden Plains).
The ever-evolving line-up of BTS will this time feature Martsch (founding member, principal songwriter, singer and guitarist) plus Melanie Radford (bass) and drummer Teresa Esguerra; the same line-up as featured on the band's 2022 album 'When The Wind Forgets Your Name', their first for indie-giant Sub Pop.
Tickets are on sale.
