An emerging global talent, Australia's Budjerah has booked his biggest local shows to date after releasing a new track.
The Gold Coast singer-songwriter – who has penned the songs 'Therapy', 'Higher', 'Missing You' and 'Ready For The Sky' – will headline concerts in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Northern Rivers in September."Onstage, there's a fire in me," Budjerah says of the upcoming shows, "and I think that's why I love performing so much. Because there's a part of me inside that just wants to come out, and that's when I feel like you get the full view of me as a whole person."
The two-time ARIA Award winner has had a number of high-profile collaborations including Ed Sheeran ('2step') and PNAU ('Stranger Love') as well as covering 'Sweet Disposition' (with Ngaiire and Gretta Ray) and 'Better Be Home Soon' (with WILSN).
Co-written with Aussie powerhouse G-Flip and Aidan Hogg, Budjerah's newest single is titled 'Is It Ever Gonna Make Sense'. Blending his captivating pop, R&B and gospel influences, Budjerah delivers a sonic punch-in-the-face and his biggest chorus yet.
Tickets on sale from 1pm (local time) on 24 July.
