This December, celebrated New Zealand artist Brooke Fraser will link up with Sydney Symphony Orchestra for one night only.
Brooke’s 2003 debut album ‘What To Do With Daylight’ reached eight times platinum in New Zealand. ‘Something In The Water’ from her third album is a worldwide hit, and she’s achieved five number one hits on the Radioscope 100 airplay chart.
She has won nine Aotearoa Music Awards including International Achievement, and her commercial success is evident across a career spanning six albums. Plus, under her married name Brooke Ligertwood, she’s a multi-GRAMMY-winner, with more than seven billion streams worldwide.
The announcement of this show with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, taking place at Sydney Opera House Forecourt, comes after the success of her sold-out performance at Auckland’s Spark Arena, with the Auckland Philharmonia.
The performance in Sydney will feature hits from Brooke’s solo albums, set in new arrangements commissioned specially to be performed with the backing of a full orchestra.
Tickets are on sale 15 August at 10am.
