Brisbane's biggest celebration of rockabilly culture, BrizVegas Kustom Karnival, is rolling into town again for another action-packed event with international rockabilly rockers and 80 of the most impressive chromed up hot rods.
Punters can expect a quirky Kustom Art Display, hairstylists, photographers, a sprawling indoor market village and the Kitten Katwalk Pinup Parade, where members of the audience can showcase their glamorous pin-up outfits.
This year's show will feature a live set from Grammy Award nominees Los Straightjackets, one of the world's finest guitar instrumental bands, on their first ever tour of Australia. Holland natives CC Jerome's Jetsetters and Australian acts Pat Capocci Combo, Men Into Space, The Lincolns and DJ Leapin' Lawrie will also be flying the rockabilly flag.
Event organiser Lori Lee Cash expects the event to be even bigger than last year's, with Acacia Ridge Hotel serving as the perfect venue: "There is no need to worry about unpredictable weather as the event will once again embrace the breezy indoor Acacia Ridge Hotel environment, so the party will continue rain, hail or shine. Last year the event saw a massive turnout and this year is expected to be bigger and better and is one you don't want to miss out on."
The BrizVegas Kustom Karnival rolls through Acacia Ridge Hotel on Sunday March 10.
