Brisbane’s Crowbar Relaunches At New Location

Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Brisbane venue Crowbar has relocated, taking up new residence around the corner at 27 Warner Street in conjunction with The Brightside.

To celebrate the new digs, Crowbar relaunch with a massive party this Thursday (23 January) featuring Bugs, Heaps Good Friends, Sweater Curse, Semantics and The Cutaways.

They'll be joined by a selection of acoustic acts, which will be announced shortly. DJ sets from TOWNS, Mazda666 and DJ Mr Sheffield will keep groovers moving late into the night.

The event is also a fundraiser for those affected by the bushfires, with all ticket sales and profits from Jack Daniels and Mountain Goat beer going to WIRES (Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service) and the Fire Relief Fund For First Nation Communities.

Also onboard are those loco gringos at Kp's Tacos, handing out tacos in exchange for small $$ donations.

All things considered, it's the perfect way to support your local music scene, victims of the bushfires and your taco fetish.

Crowbar (Brisbane) Relaunch Party For Fire Relief is on 23 January at 27 Warner Street, Fortitude Valley.
