Australia's very own country music treasure, Lee Kernaghan will tour Australia throughout 2024 with a new band in what the living legend promises will be his 'biggest and best' run of shows ever.
Boys From The Bush - The Concert will see Kernaghan – who has 4 ARIA Awards and 38 Golden Guitars to his credit – create the ultimate set list of Aussie country rock from his 15 chart-topping albums that have delivered 39 #1 hit singles."It's been a long time between drinks as far as touring goes, so being able to get the full production event out on the road for 2024 is a dream come true," Lee says.
"In a lot of ways, every show will be like an annual general meeting of the Outback Club – it's gonna be a party, it'll be a celebration, and everyone's invited."
So far only Adelaide and Perth dates have been confirmed, for April, but Kernaghan promises he'll be packing the ute and camper trailer for a swag of performances in the second half of 2024 all across our sunburnt landscape (stay tuned for those dates).
With such classic Aussie anthems like 'The Outback Club', 'Hat Town', 'She's My Ute', 'Australian Boy' and, of course, 'Boys From The Bush', Lee hopes the shows will provide a beacon to unify the community.
"The power of music is such an amazing thing," he says. "It can lift you up when you're feeling down or take you back to a special place in time.
"One of the greatest things though is how it brings people together. I'm really looking forward to catching up with all my damn good mates across Australia on the 2024 tour.
"It's the people I've met and the places I've been that have inspired so many of the songs. Being out on the road again will be like coming home."
