Australian indie royalty, Boy & Bear will treat their fans to series of special concert performances celebrating one of their seminal albums.
"For the first time in our entire career, we are incredibly excited to announce that we will be performing our 'Harlequin Dream' album in-full throughout some of Australia most iconic venues," the band says."Joining us for these very special shows will be the remarkable Sarah Blasko [performing solo]. Hope you can join us." The tour will visit Melbourne, Sydney and Perth in May before a final performance in Brisbane in August.
The group's second studio record released in 2013, 'Harlequin Dream' propelled the group into the mainstream conscious debuting at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart as well as building an international audience – the band would perform the album's lead single 'Southern Sun' live on Conan in 2014.
Inspired by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac and Paul Simon, 'Harlequin Dream' remains a pivotal release in Boy & Bear's discography and these shows will allow fans to waltz down a nostalgic lane as they revisit such Boy & Bear highlights like the aforementioned 'Southern Sun' as well as 'Old Town Blues', 'A Moment's Grace', 'Three Headed Woman', 'Bridges' and, of course, the title track 'Harlequin Dream'.
With a renowned reputation for soul-stirring live performances, this is one event Boy & Bear fans dare not miss.
