Botch 2024 Australia Tour

Botch tour Australia for the first time ever May 2024.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

After a two-decade absence, legendary mathcore-metalcore band Botch reunited in 2022.

They then released a new song, the biting, twisting riffage of 'One Twenty Two' and announced two shows early 2023 at Seattle's famed Showbox (that's hosted The Ramones and Pearl Jam amongst many more across its 85-year history), that then sold out in 13 seconds for both gigs.

A 14-date US tour followed, and while band members remained non-committal to any further Botch action – live shows or new music – now the Tacoma, Washington, natives are venturing to Australia for their debut tour down under.

"We don't want to half-ass it," Botch guitarist David Knudson says. "We want to be f...ing tight as we ever were, if not tighter.

"We don't want to disappoint a fan that's never seen us live. So you know, it's all in or nothing."

Botch, who released two studio albums ('American Nervoso' in 1998 and 'We Are The Romans' in 1999) before they split in 2002, will headline shows in Melbourne (two dates), Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney (two dates) in May.

Alongside Kundson, Botch are Dave Verellen (vocals), Tim Latona (drums) and Brian Cook (bass). Their split made way for members to form and play in other influential bands including Minus The Bear, These Arms Are Snakes, Narrows, SUMAC, Russian Circles and Torment & Glory.

Tickets are on sale.
