Australian electronic, synthpop artist-producer Boo Seeka recently released his sophomore album 'Between The Head & The Heart', five years after dropping his debut album 'Never Too Soon'.
Since exploding on the Australian indie music scene in 2015 with the single 'Kingdom Leader' (that has now been streamed 17M times on Spotify), Boo Seeka (the solo moniker of Ben 'Boo' Gumbleton) has become a festival regular (Beyond The Valley, Groovin The Moo, Splendour) while he's headlined multiple tours of North America and Europe.'Never Too Soon' featured the tracks 'Does This Last', 'Oh My', 'Humans', 'Turn Up Your Light', 'Calling Out' and 'Gold Sail'.
'Between The Head & The Heart' has already had a collective 2M streams (mostly for lead single 'Dream') since being released late June. "Five years in the making and it's finally here. Thanks to you all for being a part of the journey," Boo says.
"This record is the most personal record I've written to date. I had another record written before this, but it didn't feel like it was the right one to release at this time in my life, so I wrote another one.
"While writing this one, I basically stood in front of a mirror and spoke to myself. That is the best way I can describe what it's all about."
Due to support Hayden James on his national tour next month (Boo collaborated with Hayden on his 2022 album 'Lifted' featuring on the single 'Free'), Boo Seeka will head out on his own headline run of dates from late August to early October.
Tickets are on sale.
