An Adelaide performer with more than 20 years experience, Bonnie Lee Galea performs an eclectic range of styles.
Once again set to perform at Adelaide Fringe, Bonnie will be delivering two of her shows – 'Nina Simone: A Musical Life' and 'Simply Sade'.Known as the 'High Priestess of Soul', Nina was not afraid to use her music to challenge hearts and change minds mesmerising her audiences everywhere. Bonnie performs all of Nina's hits with her band, Jazz In Cheek Quartet.
Sticking to the rhythms of funk, soul and jazz, Bonnie & The BoyZ! are back presenting 'Simply Sade' – a sophisticated evening filled with a cool, sexy ambience covering the back catalogue of Sade including 'Smooth Operator'.
'Nina Simone: A Musical Life' plays The Goodwood Theatre (Adelaide) 8 March and Diverse-City @ West Village (Adelaide) 20 March. 'Simply Sade' plays The Gov (Adelaide) 13 March.
