It's been more than a decade since they toured Australia nationally, but the charming, exquisite sounds of American indie folksters Bon Iver return in 2023 for a six-concert run.
Justin Vernon and his bandmates will trek down under in February-March, which includes headline performances in Sydney (their first since four concerts as part of VividLIVE 2016), Brisbane and Melbourne (first time in 11 years) as well as festival appearances at MONA FOMA in Hobart, Perth Festival and WOMADelaide in Adelaide. The 'Skinny Love' and 'Holocene' legends had been scheduled to tour Australia in 2020, selling out all dates in 48 hours, but were forced to cancel due to COVID.
"We're thrilled to finally be returning to Australia! It's high time we saw you, friends," Bon Iver says.
Bon Iver have released four albums: 'For Emma, Forever Ago' (2007), 'Bon Iver' (2011), '22, A Million' (2016) and 'I, I' (2019), winning two Grammy Awards.
Vernon has also collaborated with Kanye West, Travis Scott, Vince Staples and Eminem; as well as more recently with Taylor Swift on 'Exile' and her 2020 album title track 'Evermore'.
