British band Bombay Bicycle Club return to Australia in 2024.
It's their first tour here since the release of their sixth album, 2023's 'My Big Day' that featured collaborations with Damon Albarn, Holly Humberstone, Jay Som and Chaka Khan."G'day, we'll be heading back down under this November to play some shows for you all," shares the band, who'll headline concerts in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Since they emerged in the mid 2000s, the London indie charmers have produced a slew of hits including 'Always Like This', 'Shuffle', 'Eat, Sleep, Wake', 'Luna' and 'Lights Out, Words Gone'.
Fast forward to June 2023, Bombay Bicycle Club unleashed their 'My Big Day' that swiftly climbed to #3 on the UK album charts – marking their third consecutive Top 5 and fifth Top 10 UK release. It was produced by vocalist Jack Steadman with additional production from Paul Epworth, and Ben H. Allen with mixing duties by Dave Fridmann.
"Thank you to everyone that has bought and streamed 'My Big Day'. . . The album has charted at number 3 in the UK, which feels incredible. Six albums in, we're very conscious of how lucky we are to be doing this and to have your support.
"The gigs over the last few months have emphasised what a wonderful community of fans we have. We love you and are looking forward to meeting more of you over the next year."
