In a normal world, Bluesfest's 2020 edition would be a hive of activity as we head into the Easter long weekend.
While our new world is taking a little to get used to, the future does allow hope to bloom with Bluesfest to rise again next year – 'fifty of your favourite artists have confirmed their return to Bluesfest 2021' event organisers have revealed.
"We will find a way to continue and present in 2021," Festival Director Ross Noble OAM declares.
"I am a veteran; having been in this incredible industry since the '60s I have never experienced such a dire situation.
"As a premier event we need to present another Bluesfest not only for ourselves, but also for the entire entertainment industry to see that there will be a brighter day and that as an industry we will come back from this."
With the surreal nature of the past few weeks, the festival also wishes to thank patrons for their patience with news ticket refunds will happen in the 'near future'.

Normally at this time of the year, our majestic tents would be rising high in the sky, but hey if only things were normal! One thing we do know is that we will rise again in 2021. Thank you for your ongoing support and patience, we are pleased to advise that ticket refunds for the 2020 event will be available in the near future, along with an exclusive offer for ticket-holders wishing to purchase their Bluesfest 2021 tickets.
Musically speaking we will make our first artist announcement soon. For now, we happily reveal the fact that over fifty of your favourite artists have confirmed their return to Bluesfest 2021!
Throughout the Easter long weekend, Bluesfest will be digging through their archives to share on Instagram and Facebook some of their favourite memories from past events. "Be safe, stay home and enjoy a trip down our memory lane full of good-feel festival vibes."
Bluesfest 2021 will take place 1-5 April.
